CLEARWATER, FL, US, November 29, 2018 / — The Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) Center announced that it is booking its 2019 calendar of events for local nonprofits and volunteer organizations’ activities. The Center is available for all Tampa Bay nonprofits to make use of its conference room for meetings, multipurpose room for seminars and gathering space for informal networking sessions at no cost as part of the Clearwater Community Volunteers’ efforts to bolster the growth of community-oriented groups.

New airlift set to boost tourism to Barbados

NEW YORK, USA, November 29, 2018 / — Exceptional Villas who are the leading luxury global vacation rentals experts to Barbados welcomed the recent announcement by American Airlines which stated that they are increasing their airlift to Barbados for the coming season. Commencing on December 19th, they will operate a daily service from Charlotte which is one of their main hubs. This service will operate until April 2nd. They intend to recommence the service in the summer between June 6th and August 19th which will give an additional boost to the island during the less busy summer season.

Additionally, American Airlines have announced that they are increasing the number of daily flights from Miami. Between December 19th and April 2nd and between June 6th and August 19th, there will be three flights daily on the popular route. Outside of this period, there will be 2 daily scheduled services.

When it comes to tourist numbers to the island, Great Britain is the leader with 33.3 percent of the market. Britain continues to have very extensive airlift from both London and Manchester. British Airways and Virgin Atlantic operate daily services to the island, and in peak season, British Airways operates two flights per day. In addition, Thomas Cook has commenced a twice-weekly flight from Gatwick to The Grantley Adams International Airport which has provided an additional boost to tourism on the island. The United States closely follows Great Britain with a 29% share of the business to Barbados.

The Canadian market continues to grow and currently contributes 15% of the travelers to Barbados. Canadians love to leave their cold shores for the paradise island of Barbados in the winter months, and the ease of access is an important consideration for them. There are currently non-top flights with Air Canada and West jet from Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax and in fact, Air Canada has increased its airlift to 3 flights per week in the high season from Montreal.

Latin America is another market which is experiencing increased visitor numbers to Barbados. The increase in the market has been greatly helped by the introduction of Copa Airlines of a twice-weekly flight between Panama and Barbados.

Barbados has always been a popular and a very fashionable destination partly due to the fact that it was the only island in the world that Concorde had a scheduled flight to in the seventies and eighties. Help Tourism and Events Queensland make Australia the Best Address on Earth

BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, November 28, 2018 / — Promoting the Australian State as the Best Address on Earth is the vision of Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) to add value to its tourism industry.

To achieve this goal, TEQ is inviting qualified PR and Marketing organizations to submit their offer for the Third-Party Representation of Tourism and Events Queensland in North America (Canada and the United States).

A Tourism and Events Queensland representative will be required to work with key trade, airlines, media, and tourism industry partners to undertake marketing activities including, but not be limited to:

Trade relationships – negotiation and management of cooperative marketing campaigns with key distribution and other industry partners; training in destination awareness for wholesalers and retailers; assisting Queensland tourism providers in penetrating the market; and representation at key trade events including the Australian Tourism Exchange.

Consumer marketing – this includes both TEQ solus marketing activity and consumer marketing activities undertaken with third party partners.

Digital marketing – this includes web-based marketing to consumers, media and the travel industry.

Airline relationships – this includes managing joint marketing agreements with specific airline partners, ad-hoc marketing campaigns with other partners and providing advice to airlines regarding new sales and yield opportunities.

Media and public relations activities – this includes both trade and consumer media, and promotional activities with third-party organizations outside of the tourism industry to maximize exposure for Queensland.
