Carrie Buck is scrubbing her social media accounts in an attempt to rewrite history on her extremism. But her record is clear: she is a MAGA extremist who supports Trump’s cost-raising agenda that is making healthcare costs more expensive, cutting access to Medicaid, worsening unemployment, and pummeling Las Vegas’s tourism economy. Buck can scrub her social media, but she cannot erase her support for Trump’s tax scam, tariffs, and pledge to be a rubber stamp for the MAGA agenda.

- The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) is projected by state officials to eliminate Medicaid coverage for roughly 70,000 to 100,000 Nevadans. Last year, the Joint Economic Committee Minority estimated just under 30,000 Nevadans in Congressional District 1, which Buck hopes to represent, could lose their health care coverage.
- Hospitals in CD1 are projected to lose just under $13 million, according to Third Way, a national think tank that advocates for moderate policies.
- Buck also deleted a social media post endorsing Trump’s tariffs, which have raised prices for consumers and kept would-be tourists from traveling.
- In mid-March 2025, Buck asserted on X that “It takes Trump’s policies to bring manufacturing jobs HOME. Made in America, baby! Just pointing out hypocrisy”.
- Buck’s social media scrub comes as Republicans, dragged down by the Trump agenda, face the possibility of losing control of the House of Representatives in November.
